‘‘ Carnival. Along the sunny coast, gilded palace, unbridled holiday fun. Joyful farandoles, unrestrained laughter, Carnival dozes off in the steamy dusk. Amidst sticky confetti and evaporated champagne, Carnival awakens surrounded by the sweet scents of the morning after.
Born in 1988, Alexandre is a graduate of the National School of Architecture in Nantes. His mentors include Benjamin Avignon, Louis Paillard, Philippe Barré and Pascal Fourrier. In 2010, he took part in the Eiffel photo contest and presented his thesis ''The dream machine, or the return of fiction to the postmodernists'' to Valéry Didelon (Criticat magazine, Paris). He won the Fine Arts Academy's Grand Prize for Architecture in 2011.www.ciancio-alexandre.fr

Reopened in June 2013, the "Museum of Museum of Decorative Arts, Earthenware and Fashion" at Château Borely boasts 2,500 fascinating objects, spanning a wide diversity of disciplines such a furniture making, ceramics, glasswork and fashion and accessory collections from the 18th century to current day. Donated by various foundations, the collections are set against a contemporary backdrop.Know more
