Abbaye de Montmajour

by Benoit Paillé

‘‘ As Montmajour Abbey isn't of a religious nature and is more attached to the future than the past, I photographed this magnificent restoration craftsman who enjoyed striking a pose! ”

Abbaye de Montmajour

Arles

Montmajour Abbey is a haven of peace in the heart of the Arles area. The site was founded in 948 by Benedictine monks. In 2013, the National Monuments Centre gave Christian Lacroix carte blanche to recreate the "Island of Montmajour" of his childhood and design the "Treasure Island" of his dreams.
