Comme son nom l’indique, La Cachette est un restaurant qui se découvre.
Pensée et dirigée par Marjorie, propriétaire de restaurants arlésiens depuis plusieurs années et cheffe à domicile depuis 2018 sous la marque Maison Mère, La Cachette est un lieu pour le moins singulier.
A rebours des pratiques habituelles du secteur, La Cachette est un établissement culinaire qui tient à conserver sa discrétion, sa simplicité. Une sorte de cocon familial qui donne aux clients, lorsqu’ils pénètrent dans la petite cour en pierres à l’abri des regards, le sentiment d’être privilégiés.
Se focalisant sur quelques plats originaux et uniques sur la cité arlésienne, Marjorie a pensé La Cachette comme un lieu pluriel : le midi, elle revisite le sandwich en intégrant dans des pains Hallah, le pain de chabbat confectionné ici par le boulanger Jawad du quartier de La Roquette, une cuisine élaborée et privilégiant les circuits courts ; le vendredi soir, c’est mezze et ambiance cosy.
Un lieu qui va faire le bonheur des Arlésiens en manque de tranquillité… et des visiteurs qui auront la chance de le croiser.
