Sous les micocouliers

Eygalières - Food guide restaurant

Good restaurants with reasonable prices have become a rarity in this coveted corner of the Alpilles. But this is one of them: chef Pierre-Louis Poize (ex Ducasse and Robuchon) offers a creative seasonal menu, featuring delicious combinations with as duck and winter fruits, chestnut and celery, and almond and date spring rolls. The 17th-century country house, sporting the obligatory terrace shaded by hackberry trees, is packed with charm too.
