Castillon forest is a protected site situated in the town of Port-de-Bouc. Bordered by 4 lakes, the forest features three walking itineraries specially designed by the French National Forestry Commission for lovers of old stones, fauna and beautiful landscapes. The "sentier des oiseaux" offers walkers a chance to admire grey herons, mallards, coots, flamingos and shelducks. The Pourra discovery footpath guides you over the marshes and Provençal forest. Interspersed with informative panels, it allow visitors to discover the rich and varied local flora and fauna, plus numerous ancient remains (wells, huts, terraces, etc.). The 2 km "Tourism & Handicap" footpath is specially fitted out for the disabled and families with young children.
