Plage Rives d'Or
Sausset-les-Pins - Landscape
Plage des Rives d’Or
Sausset-les-Pins – a small resort on the Côte Bleue coast -, is part of the "Marine Park": a protected area where fishing and underwater hunting are prohibited. Diving and snorkelling fans will simply adore exploring the crystal-clear waters of "Plage des Rives d’Or" beach, overflowing with every imaginable Mediterranean fish species.
The beach itself is not very large, but is handily located just 200 metres from the town centre and fitted with full amenities including an adjacent paying car park, refreshment stands, showers, toilets, lifeguards and bins, so users can clean up behind them!
"Plage des Rives d’Or" also bears the "Tourism & Handicap" label and offers disabled parking spots, plus special equipment operated by the lifeguards ("Tiralo" amphibious chair and "Hippocampe" beach wheelchair).
