Sandy Beach.The beach of the Verdon is a beautiful beach of 300m, made of sand and therefore very popular with the inhabitants of Martigues.Protected by a large Cove that shelters it from the wind, it has all the necessary facilities for the family to come.
Supervised Beach, sanitary facilities, bars and restaurants nearby.The little more of the beach of Verdon, it is the pedalos that allow water rides to admire the scenery from the sea.Bathing aid for people with disabilities:
-The tiralo is not a boat but a bathing aidused with a companion. It allows to bathe without leaving the Chair.
-The Hippocampe: a multi-activity armchair, all terrain and floating. It allows its user to move on the sand to the sea, to enter the water and to leave the armchair while bathing.
Available from Monday to Saturday from 11.30 am to 6.00 pm (excluding public holidays) on pre-registration at least 24h in advance with the agents of the coast of the Crown. Tel: 04 42 49 63 03, 7 days/7 from 9am to 5.30 pm. Blind guide dogs accepted.
The beach is monitored the first weekend in June from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., then every day from June 13 to August 30, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
