Domaine du Grand Servan
Tarascon - Educational farm
15,000 olive groves are being grown around an 18th century Provençal bastide in order to produce first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil using the traditional method.
Visit the estate alone or in a group:
on carriages pulled by a tractor or horses, listen to the details of olive growing, harvesting and the production of the olive oil which you can then taste.
In accordance with the pure Provençal tradition, the olives are simply crushed using a millstone to produce a sweet, fruity olive oil.
