The Arles Vincent Van Gogh Foundation
Arles - Cultural place
" Arles in winter " special offer : 6EUR instead of 9EUR
Vincent Van Gogh is a major figure in 20th-century art. Today his influence on other artists continues and his works exercise an unprecedented attraction on the public. It was precisely in Arles where he produced his most brilliant masterpieces in only fifteen months.
The aim of the Arles Vincent Van Gogh Foundation is to promote his artistic heritage while questioning how his work is reflected in today's art. Looking at Van Gogh's painting through the perspective of contemporary art creates a fertile dialogue based on questioning and reflection.
The Foundation is a dynamic place of exchange about the enduring link between the work of Van Gogh and the city of Arles, as well as a space open to discussion and debate about contemporary art and painting.
