Mas de la Dame

Les Baux de Provence - Olive

The Mas de la Dame, with a surface area of 57 hectares of vines and 27 of olive groves, is legendary as it is said to have been the retirement home of a mysterious 'Lady' whom the troubadours used to sing about. Mme Missoffe and Mme Poniatowski reign supreme in this 15th century site immortalised by Vincent Van Gogh in 1889; it is a pleasant place for tasting A.O.C. Baux-de-Provence and A.O.C. Coteaux d'Aix wines, olive oil and the famous cracked olives with fennel.
