The paper workshop
Arles - Craftsman
Trained in Japan for 1 year, with a master papermaker recognized intangible heritage of Unesco, Benoît Dudognon mounted a workshop paper (washi) in the South of the France. September 29, 2014 at UNESCO in Paris, he was awarded the Unesco biospheres trophies. He worked paper as its 21 years. He is a passionate, debuted in the industry and during a training at the Centre Interregional de Conservation du Livre in Arles, discovered this paper. The main plant of its composition is invasive. The manufacture of the sheet is in harmony with nature, on the factory only by combining 2 plants and water of good quality. It is in its transparency, its epaire and its resistance approaching its quality. He practices the Japanese technique of Nagashizuki, "the art to run the dough on the sieve" and the European technique (tamezuki). This manufacturing method combines tradition / technique / and harmony with nature. Have fun!
