Hexalab invite pour la première fois les artistes de Nohlab pour une création audiovisuelle inédite diffusée sur la façade fraîchement rénovée de l'église de la Madeleine, au coeur du centre ville d'Aix-en-Provence.
Studio international de création interdisciplinaires autour de l'art, du design et de la technologie, Nohlab a déjà présenté ses travaux à ISEA, Signal, OFFF, TedX, Vivid, Sonar Istanbul, World Government Summit, et reçu des prix de Culturespaces, ARS Electronica et Japan Media Arts Festival.
Ce nouveau spectacle, nommée CYCLE, est une expérience audiovisuelle en quatre parties qui s'inspire notamment de la théorie des jeux combinatoires inventé par le mathématicien John Horton Conway. Explorant la thématique de l'éternité, CYCLE, qui reprend les principes génératifs du temps réel, nous donne à voir comment la vie à besoin de certains schémas comportementaux répétitifs pour continuer son cycle d'existence.
Un spectacle visuel étonnant, qui vous emmène aux origines de la création et de la reproduction des cellules, de l'infiniment petit à l'infini grand, aux frontières de l'espace et du temps.
Dans le cadre des Chroniques, biennale des imaginaires numériques.
