In the company of the young and virtuoso pianist Pavel Kolesnikov, she continues her long companionship with Bach.
With Les Variations Goldberg Bach pushes the density of his writing to the extreme, he deploys a dazzling musical universe, of breathtaking diversity and complexity.
Dancing solo again is, for the choreographer, an opportunity to experiment with a unique vocabulary and other creative methods while remaining faithful to the most decisive of her principles: to base her choreographies on the study of musical scores.
With its thirty variations, the music of the Goldbergs launches a formidable and fascinating challenge: to invent a dance form in perpetual transformation, revolving around a fixed focus.
