Pèlerinage de Saint-Ser

Depuis le 14e siècle, chaque année, le lundi (matin) de la Pentecôte, se déroule un pèlerinage à la gloire de Saint-Ser.
A l’issue de la messe, une procession autour de la statue du Saint se dirige jusqu’à l’esplanade située en contrebas de la chapelle. Le prêtre bénit alors l’assistance ainsi que la plaine qui s’étend à ses pieds en gage de bonne récolte.
Au 19e siècle, le pèlerinage connut une telle ferveur qu’il inspira un cantique à Frédéric Mistral, cantique chanté au cours de la procession.
