Holiday of the sea - celebration of St. John

Cassis - Parade - From 22 to 24 June

Traditionally celebrated around the summer solstice, the feast of St Jean was in antiquity to light a bonfire which was said to be a cleansing power. Also we gave this ritual the power of blessing of the harvest, fertility and abundance.
