Aix en Provence - Parade - Dates and program to be confirmed - Free

The Aix and Provence Stories’ Association organizes the traditional March of kings. A long procession of costumed figurines, little angels, shepherds, craftsmen of all trades, farmers and their animals before the Magi and their three dromedaries.

At various locations in the city, the procession stops and the crowd sings traditional Christmas songs and folk groups dance. In the cathedral, the Little Singers of Aix give serenade, the clay figurines deposit their gifts to the infant in his crib and three wise men accompanied by the great organ, on the Turenne steps, come to worship the child Jesus and offer him gold, frankincense and myrrh.
