In 2016, the theme chosen for these JMZH will be "wetlands for our future: sustainable lifestyles".Program of activities planned throughout the day, from 8 h 30 to 17 h 30: Circuits in the area of the Tour du Valat: long circuit (7 km AR) to the observatories and the Rendez-vous du marais de Saint-Sanchez (free departure from 8:30 until 11:30 and 13:30 to 16: 00) and short circuit (2,5 km AR) to the Observatory of the appointment only (free departure from 9: 00 until 11:30 and 13:30 to 16: 00) thematic tours of the area : "Look at the landscapes of Camargue" at 9:30 by Patrick Grillas, Director of the scientific program, and "The management of the marshes to the Tour du Valat" at 2 p.m. by Damien Cohez, curator of the regional natural Reserve of the Tour du Valat Conferences discussion in main conference room: "birds in Camargue during the last two centuries: what developments?" at 11: 00 by Thomas Galewski and 'Cultural services of wetlands' at 4 pm by Laurent Chazée project managers at the Observatory of Mediterranean wetlands Projections of streaming movies on the Tour du Valat, lead poisoning, the flamingos, the Bittern, etc. recreational workshops for children tastings of products derived from wetlands by the Conservatoire des Cuisines de Camargue from 11 h to 15 h
