Festival Databit.me

Arles - The labour exchange - Festival - In October, November - Dates and program to be confirmed

Whether you are artists or curious, take part in this research and digital creations laboratory proposed by the association you're in you're bat during workshops open to all. Four years ago, Databit.me offers an artistic residence opened to the world, with representatives who came to Germany, from Japan, the USA and France. Understand the digital age while fun is rule number one of this event. By recycling older technologies, this collective shows how to invent new tools of communication and creation: how to create an alternative internet network via teletex technology? How to divert waves wifi in image processing? How to create his own computer from e-cards? How to create musical instruments, cameras, cameras suitable to its needs? On 18 October, you will be put to contribution during the evening opening (free entrance) of the inventive laboratory: you can enrich your SMS wall of expression on the facade of the labour exchange or even show your digital creations with those of the invited artists. From 18 to 25 October, register workshops adults and children to capture new technologies. Finally, to close this week, artists in residence and guests have prepared you two high evenings in colors to present their work: October 24, an evening "Hippie shake" and October 25, an "Acid House Party".
