Aix en Provence - Folk Music - In September - Dates and program to be confirmed

This year, the Fête Mistralienne and the Fête Nationale de Gastronomie - Goût de France have got together for some delicious experiences and shows in the shade of the plane trees in Jourdan Park.

From 11 a.m. - The Gourmet Market (admission free)
A market where winemakers and farmers introduce visitors to the best local specialities.

From 12.30 to 2.30 p.m. – Provençal Lunch (reservation required)
A temporary restaurant opening up for a Provence-style lunch concocted by three chefs from the Aix region and served with wines with the Vignobles & Découvertes label. Don't forget to reserve!

From 3 p.m. – Homage to Frédéric Mistral with Provençal singing and dancing by the Provençal Ballet troupe “La Capouliero” (admission free)

Food'Aix is a chance to spend the day tasting great local specialities and to experience one of the highlights in Provençal cultural life.

The event is organised by the “Li venturié escolo felibrenco” association in partnership with the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office.
