Les Baux de Provence - Exhibition - Du 22 mai au 31 avril - Free

Françoise et Dominique Dupuy danseurs et chorégraphes créent, en 1962, le premier festival en France entièrement consacré à la danse : le Festival des Baux-de-Provence. Durant sept ans, Les Ballets modernes de Paris qu'ils fondèrent en 1955, y présentent leurs créations.
De nombreuses compagnies étrangères y sont invitées, notamment en 1964, celle de Merce Cunningham dont c'est la première venue en France.
Cette exposition de photographie rend hommage à ces deux pionniers de la danse moderne ui ont contribué à faire rayonner les Baux-de-Provence sur la scène artistique.
Les Ballets modernes de Paris sont dissous en 1979. De 1978 à 1986, Françoise et Dominique Dupuy animent le Mas de la danse à Fontvieille.
