Born in 1950 in Helsinki, Pentti Sammallahti very early developed a passion for photography and his first personal exhibition in 1971. The 1990s were marked by many photographic expeditions through Europe, Asia, Siberia he pursues in the 2000s. In 2005, he will leave for the African continent to a control organization Japan Today work. His work has been exhibited worldwide in personal and collective exhibitions. Fascinated by the book and the techniques of reproduction of the photograph, he designed and autopublié more than forty books or portfolios, classified as "Opus", including thirteen devoted to his own work.The work of Pentti Sammallahti is a kind of Space Odyssey. The Earth seen by him is a man's height or bird, is as white as snow, pure like her.
