Festival d'Aix-en-Provence

Aix en Provence - Concert - In June, July - Dates and program to be confirmed

The Festival of Aix-en-Provence is, since its creation in 1948, one of the most prestigious festivals of European lyric arts.
It gathers every year the greatest contemporary artists, for three weeks of opera and classical music, with a preference for the works of Mozart.

In 2007, Bernard Foccroulle became the head of the Festival of Aix-en-Provence.
Organist and composer, he appears naturally attached to the baroque repertoire as well as contemporary art, and is especially committed to continuing the process of transforming opera into a meeting place and life.
