Provence wine festival in 2016
Whether you prefer a red, white or rosé wine, a dry, fruity or sweet wine, Provence honors the wine from June to September. Between tastings, rendezvous with top chefs, discovery of Provençal vineyards, training courses in wine making and trampling, and guides visits, everyone gathered to spend some friendly, warm and festive moments. This is the program: music, concerts and entertainments for young and old around the magic of wine, from Cassis to Camargue, via some nice Provencal cities and villages. 8 Vineyard walks in bouches-du-rhône
Puyloubier, Rognes, Auriol, Trets – From May to September
Every first Saturday of each month, find 8 dates under the sign of discovery: walk in a vineyard around the local heritage and visit of the cellar. For the treat of your taste buds, a wine tasting will await you.
« Thursday I say Rosé ! »
Pertuis – From 26th June to 26th August
« Le jeudi je dis rosé ! », every Thursday night in summer. The restaurant l'Olivier offers you a tasting of the best rosés wines to complement your dinner around the pool, in a lounge, relaxed and friendly atmosphere!
Art & wine
Arles, Puyricard, Rousset – From 1st July to 31st August
This year, Art & Wine will be on the theme of the color, with a highlight on the rosé. Enter artistic and wine-tourim routes in several vineyard estates of the department. In the program: artists’ exhibitions, concerts, theater evenings, tales, dance and magic, thematic conferences, wine trails, wine-grower picnic… Yearly, Art & Vin welcomes young talents but also experienced artists who will introduce you to original and unusual technics and themes.
24th PROVENCAL GASTRONOMY FESTIVAL
Châteauneuf Le Rouge – 3rd July 2016
The Provencal Gastronomy Festival is a key event in the regional gastronomic universe of the department. Every year, this event gathers starred chefs, restaurateurs, owners-growers and local products from our region.

Through a musical festival, Vinômusic aims to enhance the agricultural heritage of Provence and one of its town, Rousset. There, you can meet Jazz, Blues Soul renowned artists and taste producers’ wines.

«Les Musicales dans les vignes» offers you a privileged encounter with passionate winemakers. You shall enjoy the summer in Provence and an exceptional moment with the tasting of their best wines, with delicacies, concerts and sharing of history of the cultivation of vines and biodynamic wine heritage.

Manifesta will take place for the first time in France, in Marseille from the 28th of August until the 29th of November 2020. The Nomadic European Biennial will also extend to the whole Region Sud. Enjoy an arty stay in Provence !
The "Sentier Provence, mines d'énergies" (Provence Energy Mine Trail) is a new GR® long-distance footpath crossing 14 towns in the Pays d’Aix and Pays d’Aubagne areas. The trail is divided into 3 itineraries (42 km, 45 km and 66 km) and also includes 13 local loops.
