Manifesta will take place for the first time in France, in Marseille from the 28th of August until the 29th of November 2020. The Nomadic European Biennial will also extend to the whole Region Sud. Across Provence region
Marseille, as a symbolic and historic link between Europe and the Mediterranean and a port city with 2600 years of history, was chosen to host the 13th edition of Manifesta. For the first time since its creation in 1996, the European Nomadic Biennial takes place in France with 90 days of cultural events in Marseille and its region. Manifesta 13 Marseille is divided into 3 programmes, taking place in 110 venues across the Region, from Arles to Monaco. Many reasons to visit our rich and authentic Provence region!
