CYCLING TOURS AROUND MARSEILLE
In the hills of La Ciotat, around the town of Ceyreste, lies Fontblanche forest and a variety of mountain biking trails set up by the Area Council, where you can enjoy a fun excursion in the shade of Aleppo pines. Climb aboard for a cycling tour at the foot of the Garlaban, an impressive rock overlooking the childhood hills of Marcel Pagnol. This 22-kilometre sporty itinerary departing from Aubagne takes you through the hamlet of Lascours and town of Roquevaire, home to the famous Maison de Celle-qui-Peint – a genuine work of art by Danielle Jaqui. CYCLING TOURS AROUND AIX
For this first bike tour of the year around Aix-en-Provence, we're taking you on a tour of Sainte Victoire mountain! A 66-kilometre itinerary on Provence's scenic roads, crossing several of the Bouches-du-Rhône's picturesque little villages. You will come across several vineyards along the way, so don't hesitate to stop off for some wine tasting. At Domaine de Saint-Ser in Puyloubier, you can even enjoy a walk along a botanical footpath!

Located in the inland countryside of Aix, Jouques is a great choice for a half-day excursion, with exciting uphill and down dale mountain bike trails at Domaine de Taulisson and magnificent views over Sainte Victoire mountain – simply download our cycling tour guide and enjoy! A little further north, midway between Salon-de-Provence and Aix-en-Provence, the village of Charleval is the pretty departure point for our cycling itinerary around Silvacane Abbey. CYCLING TOURS AROUND ARLES, BETWEEN CAMARGUE AND THE ALPILLES
This year it's decided – you're going to take a cycling holiday in Camargue! If you're looking for some more extraordinary Provencal landscapes, cross the town of Saint-Martin de Crau on your bike then head off to the wetlands of La Crau humide – a vast plain used to grow the coveted Foin de Crau straw – and the arid lands of La Crau sèche, used for grazing. While you're there, stop off for a fascinating plunge into bygone days at the Rétro musée de la Crau heritage museum.

A fabulous cycling tour of over 60 kilometres awaits you departing from Mouriès Tourist Office. This tour does lead you away from the wilder parts of Camargue, but it is a delightful round trip crossing several towns and villages of Provence, with highlights including beautiful olive groves and olive oil tasting at Moulin Saint-Michel!
